Idea Cellular has announced launch of Voice over LTE services, which will start from March 1 in some circles.

MUMBAI: Idea Cellular, one of the country's largest telecommunications operators, has announced launch of voice over LTE services, starting from March 1 in some circles. This service will only be available to the employees of the company initially. VoLTE services Idea will be introduced in more than 30 cities in 4 circles, including Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut, Pune, Goa, Nashik, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Hyderabad. Idea has planned to start VOLTE services in all 20 circles (4G) of the country till April.

Initially, this service will be available only to employees, in which ultra high definition call will be given as compared to standard voice calls. Idea's VoLTE services on the High Speed ​​4G network will provide voice services as well as a great Internet experience.

In the first phase, Idea will launch VOLTE services in 4 circles in the beginning of March, including Maharashtra and Goa, Kerala, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
