New Delhi: Just before the launch of Samsung's Galaxy S9 and S9 +, the company has made big cuts in the price of its old flagship Galaxy S7 Edge in India. The 32 GB variant of this smartphone can be bought at Rs 35,900. These are available in both online and offline markets with new low prices. Apart from this, the new price of Galaxy S7 Edge 128 GB variants has gone up to Rs 37,900.

Samsung launched its S7 edge smartphone in India in March 2016. At that time 32 GB variants were priced at Rs 56,900. However, in almost two years this price of this smartphone has been cut several times and after the recent price cut, it can be bought for Rs 35,900.

During the launch, the Galaxy S7 Edge ran on the Android Marshmallo 6.0 OS but now it has come up with a new update. Recently news has revealed that Samsung can also release 8.0 ORIO OS updates for these smartphones.

Specifications of the Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled Curved Display. This handset IP 68 is certified, i.e. dust and water proof. The Galaxy S7 Edge offers Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 QuadCore (2.15 GHz Dualcore + 1.6 GHz Dual Core) processor which comes with 4 GB RAM.

Talking about the camera, the phone has a dual pixel rear camera of 12 megapixels, which is equipped with a smart OIS feature. The front camera with self-sensor is 5 megapixels. The Galaxy S7 can extend the internal memory of the device up to 200 GB with the help of MicroSD card. Samsung has given a 3600mAh battery to power it.

So far, these smartphones run on the Nouga OS with the software update but when the Orao update comes in and whether or not the suspense remains intact.
